Hi,
I upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion yesterday, and I just realized that most of my aliased files have lost their links. Some still do have their links intact though. I'm using a early 2008 iMac. Any ideas how to solve this without going through each individual file?

If you erased the volume, that will break all aliases and you have to recreate them. Otherwise restore them from a backup. Years ago, there used to be utilities that would search for broken aliases and try to recreate them automatically, but I don't know whether any such utility exists now.
Thanks for the reply. I didn't erase the volume, or do a clean install, I just installed it as an update. I'll take a look around to see if there are any apps to fix it. Thanks
