Q: my iphone lost a ring tone i downloaded. can i re-download

My iphone lost a ringtone I downloaded and it can not be synced. Can I re-download that ring tone. I can find the purchase item and receipt but can not find a download button for the song. Thank you.

iPhone 3GS, iOS 6.1.4

At this moment in time Ringtones are a once only download.

You will need to Purchase it again.

If you contact Apple Support, generally, they can chat with iTunes Chat and regrant you the download. With that being said, be sure to transfer purchases in the future.
