when i connect my iphone to itunes it say its corrupted? what can i do i want to update my contacts and save them

I would suggest you delete the backup that is corrupt and then create a new backup. If you click on EDIT in itunes on your computer then click PREFERENCES and then over in the pop up window you see click on DEVICES tab and a list of any backups you have on your computer appear there. Delete the backup that is corrupt. Then connect your phone to the computer, select your phone from the left column and then select the summary tab and click on Backup Now

I have a free app called MCBackup that creates a file that you can email yourself and it consists of a complete list of the contacts. Good way to back them up and keep a copy from time to time. There is anothe app called TTvCard that does the same thing. You might be able to open the email on the Samsung and have the contacts appear on the Samsung phone
