why would mu Iphone 5 display a double lock screen?

I'm guessing that a screenshot of the lock screen somehow got set as the lock screen. Unlock the iPhone then go to Settings>Brightness & Wallpaper. Tap on the current wallpaper image to see more options.

Not sure what would be causing that, but reboot it. Press down on the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears. That should clear it up....

You haven't downloaded IOS 7 have you? This doesn't look like a software problem, but thought I'd check.
If you haven't downloaded IOS 7, can you remember when this started? Did anything unusual happen before you started noticing it?

when the screen is locked it shows two diffrent dates and time ontop of each other..
What do you mean by "double lock"? What are you seeing, exactly? Can you provide a screen print?

I had to reset my entire phone yesterday, after i locked myself out. it's been doing this ever since.
If you locked yourself out, you didn't reset, you restored. What else did you do?
