How do I get my Kodak ESP 3.2s printer to print documents from my iPad ?

Airprint is an Apple protocol devised by Apple to allow iOS devices to directly print. The list of Airprint (with a capital A) compatible printers is here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356

The Kodak supports wireless printing.

Your Kodak printer does not support Airprint so you are restricted in what you can print.

You can try one of general printing Apps to print more types of documents:

Print n Share

Printer Pro

PrintDirect

Print Agent

Print Central

Etc.

Airprint is a technology created by Apple Inc. and introduced in iOS 4.0 that allowed iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches to print directly to Airprint compatible printers. Unlike computer printing where the drivers, fonts, etc. are stored on the computer and sent to the printer with the document with Airprint fonts, drivers, etc. are stored on the printer and need not be sent with the document.

The solution to your problem is 3rd party software which both Jim and I suggested to you.

I also have Kodak ESP c315. I can print photos from my i pad using the Kodak app. But not documents. I have solved this by taking a screen shot of the document, then go in to kodak app,

select document from your photos and print from there.

I had a Kodak printer and print n share worked just great with it.

YOu might want to also look on Kodak's site. I know they had some google docs things going on, depending on model, where you could use a hard wired printer as a local print server or e-mail your document to the printer.

You will need a 3rd party program like Fingerprint or Print N Share.
