Q: Missing iPhoto library - now I have a new but empty one. Help please!

Holding down 'command' 'option' or 'command' 'O' doesn't work for me - I have iPhoto 11, is there another way to bring up the above repair/restore icon?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

To access the rebuild menu: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

Thanks very much for your response Terence. That worked - the icon appeared - however all rebuild and repair options failed. It looks like perhaps in attempts to remove files from my disk I have accidentally deleted iphoto or maybe because I almost reached disk capacity it somehow crashed. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated

    Well there's a story here

It looks like perhaps in attempts to remove files from my disk

    What files did you remove?

maybe because I almost reached disk capacity it somehow crashed

    This is very possible.

How big is your HD? How much free space on it now?
