New Apple ID

I have an old Apple id that belonged to my cousins email address, the email address has been deactivated and neither of us know the password, i have made another Apple id since to update my apps and the id has been confirmed, but everytime i try to update my apps it still comes up the old id!? i know you can remove an id from your device but that is only if you know the password!? Can someone please help me to try and delete the old id!?
