Q: how to cancel a pre order before the date the album's release date

I'd like to cancel a pre-order purchase of an album set to release next week. I no longer want the album, so how do I cancel the pre-order so that I am not billed for the full price of the album.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
