Q: KeyChain Access Password denied
Hello from British Columbia ...
I am assisting a friend who could not remember her Admin Password - we intend on upgrading her MacBook (Intel) from Tiger to Snow Leopard.
I booted up the MB from the Install disk CD and put in a new AP and then restarted from the MB Startup Disk and all went well.
Then I start getting a screen from Keychain Access asking the password which is of course NOT the one I just installed which btw works fine otherwise.
I go to KCAccess and note that all the previous entries are there. I do a Repair withintg KCA, it accepts my new AP but I then subsequently later on get the window once again for my KCAccess password.
I trust I am making myself clear and would appreciate your collective advice.
Thanks
Ron

If Keychain First Aid finds an issue that it cannot repair, or if you do not know your keychain password, you may need to reset your keychain.
