MacBook Pro gives a blue screen when I try to start from a bootable usb stick

Since yeasterday my MacBook Pro is refusing to startup. The starup proccess goes like Apple Logo, Spinning wheel, white dispaly and stops - freezes there.

So I made a bootable usb stick and tried to boot from there so to be able to do a format and repair it. Also the recovery HD wont boot...

When I start my Macbook Pro from the bootable usb stick it gives me a blue screen. I have tried to reset PRAM but nothing.

I am attaching 2 images of the blue screen.

Please help...!!!

I used disk utility to burn the mountain lion original dmg (10.8.3).

No worky, it would seem. If you can get ahold of a Mac that DOES work, use same Install Mountain Lion app and LionDiskMaker to concoct the bootable USB installer instead.

So you used the Recovery HD boot to use Disk Utility to try and create that USB stick? If so why not just use disk utility to do a repair of the drive and then maybe reinstall OS X.

Guys thank you for your replies. I could boot in any way... I tried several things.

Finally a friend managed to give me an Apple Hardware Test and it came with these results... Any ideas ?

It sure looks like you have a Hardware problem, graphics area.

Make an appointment at your local Apple Store genius Bar for a FREE evaluation, in warranty or out.

Hi Chris, just wondering if you managed to get this problem fixed? My MacBook Pro screen looks just like yours did though this is after startup using power on button not using a USB. Hope you got yours working and can let me know any tips. hanks.
