My 7th Generation ipod nanos screen won't work. I haven't dropped it or anything. Can I fix it?

Hey animezombie,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! I know the following article says it is for the 6th generation, but most of the troubleshooting steps would apply to your iPod model as well. Depending on what exactly is going on with your screen, you'll probably want to read one of the sections titled "Screen is unresponsive and displays Apple logo" or "Touch screen is not accepting input" or "Display shows a white screen."

Thanks, but this didn't help. it's still completely unresponsive.

More info for anyone who can help: it connects to my computer fine, itunes and everything is perfect, but as soon as it's unplugged, he screen turns black, and won't do anything. I've tried resetting it, through itunes and by holding down the buttons, but nothing helps. Plus, I don't live near any apple stores, so I can't have it repaired, and they're to **** expensive to get a new one.
