So I clicked on my itunes app, and a window pops up saying 'The file itunes Library itl cannot be read because it was created using a newer version of itunes, would u like to download itunes now?'

After seeing this message, I updated all my software and restarted my mac, but when i clicked on the 'updated' itunes the same message still appears, saying I need to update a newer version EVEN THOUGH I already did, and there are no more updates...

What should I do? o.o HELP???!!! im not very good with computers

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
