I installed Windows XP in bootcamp partition on Mac mini

But it sees my Bluetooth keyboard but not my trackpad. What do I do?

Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Hi James,

Did you get the correct Bootcamp drivers?

I think you're right. I downloaded it, put it on a USB flash drive, and clicked it on my XP partition. It said, "you must use this with only Bootcamp 3.0 or later." I have 3.0.4, the version installed with 10.6.8. Now I'm totally mystified.

I bought the 10.6.3 version of OS 10.6, but I can't take the files off that. The disk is ejected because it isn't the version on my drive.

You know, I think Apple should just clear things up a little. "You need this version if you have..."

I think I know now what I did wrong this time. I used Bootcamp to make the partition, but at some point I had the Windows disk reformat the whole thing to Fat32. I guess this erased the Snow Leopard drivers, which probably didn't include the trackpad anyway. But now, when I try to update the drivers in XP, they're all Windows, and not able to be replaced by the Apple drivers. Sigh.

I guess I have to erase and start over.
