Q: i bought a iphone yesterday and ive put my sim in the phone works perfectly normal but it says no service but when i leave the house and go to a different area the signal does come on but no for long what doi do to solve thisa problem

i bought a iphone 4 yesterday and put the sim card in and the phone works perfectly fine except it says no service but when i leave the house i get singal in different areas but not for long before it says no service again can anyone help me with this problem

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3

Sounds like a coverage problem. What did your carrier say about it?

Note also that the i4 suffers from the infamous Grip of Death problem. If you hold the phone in a certain way, your hand will interfere with the phone's antenna and cause a loss of reception. Make sure to put a case on it, Apple was giving them for free as a workaround.
