Please let me know which is the best HD/Bluray (Avi, MKV format) video player software for MAC Pro.
Currantly Iam using MXPlayer, but video output is low when compared to Quictime or Windows Media Player.
Please do let me know your suggetions.

Another good one is MPlayer OS X Extended (though with this you may have to install the extended codec pack for most compatibility): http://www.mplayerosx.ch
Tried VLC its d worst of all in terms of video quality. Any other softwares please help

I have Bluray and HD 1080 movies which plays best on Windows Media Player but when it comes to Mac it *****, as Quicktime wont support WMV format.

I wonder why you dont like FLV, ive played every format out there on it, picture is perfect. Everyone uses it, its as universal as air itself.
Use wondershare to convert EVERYTHING into MP4 format, then play it on a mac if you have a video issue.
I tried most of them, and they all stink except wondershare

I dont think you'll get much more than what VLC and MPlayer OS X Extended offer, especially for one that will play multiple container and encoding formats. Perhaps your quality issues are with the encoding and not with the media player. These players both have a number of preferences and settings, which you can use to tweak the output quality, but the extent of these options will be limited by the quality of the encoding.
I have Perian for Quicktime, seems like Quicktime is the worst to play, Plex is the best but not 100% still have problem with pixelation. I think it should be better players for Mac. BTW, I saw an article about Must Know Something about 1080P Video on aneesoft blog. You can know more about 1080P video from there.
VLC is the best, it supports a ton of different types of formats and incorporates a lot of useful features for video playback. The video quality of the file you are playing has nothing to do with the application playing it. Video quality is an attribute of the file itself, not the program.
in my opinion, bluray media player is amazing and it is HD, it works for many formats and it meet all my needs.
In for a solution as well... I use to use AVS Media player. it plays pretty much anything. And It is free.
