Q: I have a Verizon MiFi device I use as a WiFi for my Macbook and it works fine. I am trying to connect my i Pad to this wifi device and it just twirls around like it is unable to locate it. Wondering what I should do?

I have a Verizon MiFi device that I use as a WiFi for my Macbook and it works great. I am trying to set up my new iPad to the same device for WiFi and it comes up as a selection but when I click on it all it does it twirl around and won't connect. Needing to know how to proceed to get it to connect? Thanks

I have one as well, and mine works very well. Reboot the iPad and power the MIFI off and on and see if that helps.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up

I kept trying this and it didn't work. Appreciate your response, but any others out there have any suggestions.

There are other things to try.

Turn WiFi off on the iPad, restart it and then turn WiFi on again.

Reset the network settings on the iPad. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings, that makes you have to start all over again.
