Is there a way to sync my to do list or task list that I created in the calendar on my desktop, to the calendar on my iphone?
If not, does it show up in another app?
Or, do I need a whole new app to do thi?

Assuming you're talking about Calendar and your other Apple apps, then just sync both devices with iCloud. Then it will do it automatically.

I do use ICloud to sync both devices.
The problem is that the calendar on my iphone does not show anything but events.
I don't have a view in the calendar that shows the tasks or to do's on each day, or the area on
the right side of the screen. (like the PC does) .
Do those lists actually sync? Where do they show up?
