Is there an app for Mac that is like Microsoft Outlook? I have both iWorks and unfortunatly the household version of Office that doesn't have a working Outlook. Microsoft will not sell it alone. I need a contact manager.

Yes, these are integrated in to OS X, they're call Calendar and Mail and Contacts. They integrate together very well, have you tried them? If for some reason you don't like using them then simply get Office for Mac 2011 and use Outlook.
