These are the two lines that showed up immediatly after sellecting the preferences in Mail, causing the program to freeze

SASL(-1): generic failure:
The first of the two lines had a full report that I can attach.
Pretty sure that somehow the CAC issue is correlated, also ran a disk-utility and found a file that was corrupt com.apple.preferences.internet.....XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX.plist
The disk utility was able to repair it though.
