2012 Mac Mini highest resolution

Anybody know the max resolution a late 2012 Mac Mini can output through any of its video ports? Anybody using a Mini with a high resolution monitor? Since, apparently, we can only see in the settings the resolutions available for the hooked up display the highest I can see is 1080P. I'm wondering what others may be seeing with higher capability displays.

Thanks.

Right now I'm hooked up to my 55" TV with HDMI so 1080P is the max and is what I'm using. While perfectly satisfactory for watching my movies and pictures it's definitely not the same as my 24" iMac was for the Desktop, e-mail and doing any work with text. It's OK but not the same so I was just wondering what the Mini was capable of.

At 2560x1600 maybe I could be looking at a 65" iMac like display when the new 4K TVs really start hitting the shelves later this year. It's time for a new TV anyway 🙂

Thanks for the info.

The Mini is hooked up to the TV mainly for Pictures and Plex and some Music through the surround system. I've become the family archivist for pictures so they're viewed a lot. Close up work and heavy lifting is done on my MacBook Pro. But it's nice to know that the Mini display will probably improve when, not if, I move up to the latest and greatest in TVs.

Thanks again.
