Q: My daughters iPod was stolen. They are texting using her pinger account. How can I track phone. Not sure if linked with iCloud. Afraid as we all share information. Accounts linked with sister and mine.

MY daughters iPod was stolen. Please help me! Someone is texting now using her pinger account, therefore they have access to the phone. They must have figured out the pass code. What can I do to delete or stop use. Not sure if registered with iCloud..

You need to change ALL your PASSWORDS... NOW.

Contact your local law enforcement agency to report your lost or stolen iOS device. Apple does not have a process to track or flag lost or stolen products, but you can use My Support Profile (supportprofile.apple.com) to find a list of serial numbers for products that you've purchased or registered with your Apple ID.

    • If you did not enable Find My iPhone before it was lost or stolen, you cannot use it to locate or protect your device, but you can still follow the above steps to change your iCloud password and report your lost or stolen device to local law enforcement.
