what to do if you lose your iPad

Hi,

Lost my iPad Mini and have my serial number but did not have find my iPad installed.

Changed all my passwords from email and apple iD but im just worried about my pictures, any idea how i can avoid someone seeing or using my pictures and Notes?

my iPad is locked but i guess they have tricks these days to open it even with a passlock and i did not switch on to delete all my data when they put 10 times the wrong password.

All suggestions are welcome
