Hi. My iPhone only has 16gb storage, so the itunes playlist is limited to what I can fit on my phone. But where is all the music on my macbook, including the complete albums that don't fit on the phone?

Hi. I am having trouble accessing my entire itunes library on my Macbook. Because my iphone only has 16GB storage, I had to choose which songs went on the phone. I just chose my high rated songs, but where have all the other songs (complete albums) gone from my macbook? It seems that itunes has only kept the songs that fit on my iphone. Why can't I see more songs on my macbook? It's very confusing and the FAQs don't seem to help. Thanks for any help 😀
