How can I stop and delete an incomplete download which I don't want

I proceeded with download of electronic file from a movie DVD I purchased into itunes. Then realized how big the file was and don't want to download it.

I can pause the download and even delete it within the download screen, but the 'available download' remains and keeps trying to auto download.

Please help!
