iTunes 11.0.4 crashes during sync of multiple iOS devices

I am helping a coworker out with an issue he is having with his PC (Windows 7 64bit). He just recently updated to iTunes 11.0.4 and tried to sync an iPhone, iPod, and two iPads. At first iTunes would crash as soon as it would open, so I turned off the auto sync. Then I connected the device and during the sync (step 2 of 5) iTunes would crash. I went through and unchecked everything so that it wouldn't actually sync anything and it still crashed. I reinstalled iTunes straight from apple.com and still had the same problem. I will be looking at it again tomorrow and plan on completely removing iTunes and then reinstalling rather than the reinstall/repair accompanied with a restart of everything. Does anyone have any other ideas on what I could do?
