video will freeze on some sites and comes back and intermitently freezes and comes back. On some sites does not come back at all. System is a 2007 IMAC with max ram (6GB). Problem is only recent.

reset the smc - shut computer off, unplug from very back of computer from power for 15 sec., plug back in & press power button, and hold down command+option+R+P until you hear 2 startup chimes then release.
