Q: Why can I not drag a .mov file from a Download onto my Mac timeline or in a exteral hard drive?

I received a .mov file along with an option to download the footage. For some reason, I can't open the .mov file???

Any ideas why I can't?

    Are you getting any error messages?  What do they say?  Exactly what occurs when you try to open the .mov file?

     

    Which app & version are you trying to use to open the .mov file?  If QT, which one, vX or v7.x which is located inside your Utility folder?
