Doesn't allow you? Not sure what you mean by that. What exactly are you doing and what happens when you do it?
Right I can not export my finished video. It does not give me the option to. It has a share tab and when I try to share my video on Vimeo or facebook or YouTube it's not really sharing. Then I have share compressor tab but you have to buy the compressor inorder to do so and I'm not buying it. I didn't know that the trial didn't allow you to expirt your finish video.
You're in the project library. You have the project selected. You click the Share button at the right end of the toolbar, select an item from the popup, and nothing happens? No dialog appears?
Yes I have the project selected and when I hit share various options for where I want to share the video comes up so I hit one for instance the "Master File" I click on it and set my settings to quicktime and etc., then when I hit next it take me to a screen of where would I like to save the file at so I would put it on my extrenal hard drive. But when I got to check to see if it saved nothing is there. I tried to do Vimeo but nothing is there on Vimeo also.
Can you save or export on the 30 day trial is that even a feautre?
Ok. After you select the location for your master file and click ok, the window closes, right? Is the background task indicator turning? Did you open the background task window? What's happening in there? Anything in the project Shared folder? Anything displaying in the Share inspector for the project?
I had the same problem with the 30-day trial, and this is what I am currently trying:
In Final Cut Pro X, after telling it how to File > Share and finishing all those prompts, I then click Window > Background Tasks. This brings up a Background Tasks window, and under Sharing, I can see a growing status bar showing that FCPX is creating the file! Yay! Why this window does not display automatically when FCPX starts trying to Share, I don't know.
It just finished, so now I am going to YouTube to see if it uploaded... Yes! In YouTube, in my Creator Studio view, under Video Manager > Videos, it is there! Hooray!
Hope this helps,
+ Mel
TThe Dashboard displats the share operation. The background task window gives to more detail. If the windiw covers the screen it makes it difficult to do multiple tasks.

There is an indicator that is shown automatically but it can be missed easily.
This is the Background Tasks indicator.
The circular part will be either grey, blue or green.
The above screen shot is an Export partly finished at 49%.
The blue shows what is complete and the grey shows the not done bit.
It ends up green when complete or 100%.
You can get more detail by clicking directly on the circular part or using the keyboard; Command-9.
This calls up the Background Tasks window.
