Q: Powerbook G4 wifi connected but doesn't work
Finally reformatted this Powerbook and put Leopard on it.
The setup assistant came up and it asked me to join a wireless network. I saw my network, put in the password and then it says...
'Ip Configuration 192.168.1.xxx in use by a8:39, etc' which looks like the Mac address.
The signal strength is at full and it looks like it's already connected to network. I tried 'Join Other Network' and put in the same information and got the same result.
Ethernet cable works fine, wifi does not.
I currently have 3 iMac's, 1 iPad, and 3 iPhone's all connected to the wifi no problem.
Why is this having trouble? The wifi worked fine before I reformatted.
PowerBook, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

Nevermind I got it working. DHCP was set to manual address for some reason. Never had this issue before.
