received an error message--"you do not have enough access privileges. This is the first time I have received this message. Any ideas how to fix?

Cannot sync my Iphone or Ipad. Receiving error message about not enough access privileges. I have been successfully syncing my ipad for 2 years and my ihone for 8 months. How can I fix this?
