MacBook Pro late 2011.

Accidentally DELETED the app TEMPERATURE GAUGE. Logged in to the App Store and tried following these directions:  If you want to reinstall a deleted app, open Mac App Store, click the  Purchases icon, then click on the "Install" button for the app.

INSTALLED is grayed out in my PURCHASES section. Will not allow any action. Went to the publishers website and the also recommend the above action. Nothing.  Open for suggestions?

Absolutely not.  It's running just fine.

You can go to the publishers site a download it. The upgrade and it's NOT available from App Store.

App Store directs you off site to upgrade

I am running the new version.

Thanks for your help.  I found the missing original app. And all is as it should be now.

Again thanks.

    Check your Trash...

    And/or...

Do a Spotlight Search for the Application.

Check with the Developer of the App... the Upgrade may not be Free...

Has nothing to do with the upgrade. Some how I deleted the App Store download.

There IS NO CHARGE for the upgrade from the publisher. BUT, the original app, 4.1 is required for proof of purchase / upgrade in App Store purchases.

So in one way it does have something to do with the Upgrade process..

If you have a Time Machine back up... you could try to recover your accidental deletiion of the App.

How do I view or restore selected items?
