Can Mac Hardware Test be performed with an aftermarket keyboard, since it would be good to eliminate it as a potential hardware issue?

I use a Bella Professional series video editing keyboard. Would it present a problem to use it - rather than my Apple issued keyboard for the test so I can be sure it's not a problem?

Mac Pro (Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Apple Hardware test does a very coarse test for Gross failures. It is known for false negatives. Do not worry about an aftermarket keyboard, it is not likely to be a problem unless that keyboard is totally bizzarre, and requires an extensive Driver just to type regular letters.
