Importing video to imovie

I am using flip player free to view my surgical videos becuase of the format but can't import them to imovie. What do I need to do differently to make it work?

hello, since you knew it was the format incompatibility issue, you might as well convert the original format to iMovie supported formats like ProRes MOV, MPEG-4, or H.264. If you don't know how to get started, you can use the Video Mate for help. Everything can be so simple with it. Good luck!
