My AppleTV keeps dropping the signal when playing iTunes through the WiFi (802.11n) network connection on the home network

Why does my AppleTV keep dropping the signal when playing iTunes through the WiFi (802.11n) network connection on the home wifi network. My Airport Express (802.11g) never does this!

iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), iTunes 11.0.4 (4)
