I moved Aperture 3 from older Mac mini to newer Mac mini.

I moved Aperture 3 from an older Mac mini to newer Mac mini. When opening Aperture (on the newer Mac mini) it asks me for name and sn. After input (it states "this is a upgrade sn) it wants the old sn. I don't know how to get it (I, long ago and several moves lost the original box). Apple store "knows" I am the legal owner... but doesn't help. I have tried to enter my Apple acount that stores such things (like it used to do) but that was a long time ago and I can't get there any more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS - Aperture 3 is working fine on my older Mac mini.

PS - Tried moving the pro app document to the library with no success.

Contact Apple with a proof of purchase and ask for a replacement serial number.

This document describes, what to do:

Thank you, thank you... thank you!!! It took a few days... but boy it sure feels GREAT to have Aperture back up and running... especially on my new Mac mini. I would like to thank everyone at Apple, especially the representative (her name purposely not used) for bringing me up to speed. I am a big (huge) Apple products user (since Mac SE) and will be till I pass onto that huge Apple pasture in the sky ;-{)
