Random pixelation on 2013 MBA?

This has happened thrice since I got my new MBA (2013, 13"/i7/8GB/256GB):

First time in TextEdit and next in Safari. I spent 1579€ in this machine so I obviously asked for a replacement (I'm within the 14 days window), but these are my questions:

Is this a common issue (aka it's happened to most of you)?

Is it possible that it happens again with the replacement?

I rely on this machine, so last thing I want is asking for a replacement every week.

No. This is not common at all.

It is better to return the computer and get another one within the 14 days return period.

Standard troubleshooting steps to take for these kinds of anomalies are:

Start up in Safe Mode.

Reset PRAM.

You should have it replaced. This happened to me too. See attached photo - User uploaded fileI called up Apple Support and reported it, luckily I'm still within the 14 day return period so I'm going to bring it to the store on Friday. I was surprised it happened to me twice and a sudden black screen that resulted to a reboot. I think these things are caused by hardware problems. Best to have it replaced. Good luck!
