I do not have a group icon in contacts and it would be of great help.  I have looked and looked and one does not seem to be available.  All the "help" sites, including Apple, state that a red ribbion at the top of the page should be there but, none is found on my new desk top MAC.  Can anyone help?

Go to Contacts menu > View and choose Groups.

The Red ribbon is for Lion, not Mountain Lion Contacts. Did your new desktop come with Lion, I doubt it?

You posted in the Lion forum but your address says that you're using Mountain Lion.

Mountain Lion has buttons at the bottom of the page:

Yes, that's another way to do it. The OP has 10.8 as his specs and I read that. You're right there's no bookmark icon in 10.7. I'll ask to have the post moved.
