Hello guys,
My 4S is just over a year old and has been working fine all along, then suddenly it cant find any wifi networks, the wifi is on and is not greyed out i also have a wifi adress but it cant find any wifi networks. Yes the wifi is on, yes i am in range, yes i have tried restarting it, yes i have tried airplane mode 🙂 Would me doing a restore help, or any other suggestion?

I have tried this method yesterday and it worked. Yes, it worked but only for 10 minutes until the problem occured again. I dont know why some people can hold their wifi for a long time eg weeks or even months with this method.
Anyway, after trying the freezer thing and didnt get the result i wanted, i went to a local repair shop since my phone is out of warranty, i was told it had been the wifi chip that caused the problem so they did a thing called reflow... something and my phone is fixed !
So for the people who tried all the software methods and is still upset, i recommend replacing with a new phone by Apple if your phone is under 2 years and repair the hardware if it is over 2 years 😀
I got the same problem. i even restored my 4s and still my phone cannot detect any wifi connections. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ON THIS APPLE! is it because of the new iOS7.0.3?? now im ******.
Same here ! everything was working okay before 7.0.3 ! now wifi disconnects and i cant see any more wifi signals and when i try to acess wifi network the screen freezes !!

Try a hard reboot holding the power button for 30 seconds

I left the phone on, wifi off and put it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
When it came out it picked up the signal!

My 4s stopped detecting wifi the day before yesterday so I tried the freezer approach.
Belive it or not this thing WORKS!!! I am getting all available networks again!!!
The freezer method worked for me but after several hours my phone again cant able to detect any wifi signals...
Unbelievable. I was reluctant to try this at first but I am so glad I did. Totally fixed the wi-fi problem!!!!!
