It sounds like you might be experiencing issues with the passcode on your iPod touch. If that's the case and maybe you've forgotten the passcode or your device is disabled after inputting an incorrect one, take a look at this article:

Forgotten RESTRICTIONS Passcode

- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.

- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

I have no idea what you are trying to say. You have not posted/replied in this discussion before and the actions already included in this discussion cover all iPod models/iOSs

Because then anyone could just reset the password and thus Restrictions would be worthless.
