Q: Can Verizon Iphone 5 be used on AT&T LTE Network
I have a Verizon iPhone 5 and recently the coverage changed near my home. Verizon was once the only provider in the area and now they appear to be booted off the local towers leaving my home in a black hole with no service.
I was working from home for a week with the kids and needed phone service for work. Called AT&T and basically got the come one over we'd love to have you and don't worry you don't need a new phone. (or iPad).
After setting up I've now got voice, data services at my home with AT&T. Prior I only had voice with verizon the data was very very slow.
Only issue now is AT&T's website says our area is in LTE coverage area but the devices I moved over from Verizon won't connect to the AT&T LTE network. Anybody have suggestions?

The Verizon iPhone 5 is totally unlocked on the GSM side, as you've already determined. The problem you have is Verizon uses different LTE bands than AT&T does so you will not be able to get LTE on any of your devices. Sell them and then purchase AT&T or unlocked models.
