Safari/google search history? Is this possible?

I have the iPhone 4.

In safari, Google, search history, it is showing things I have not typed in to search. It's not the browsing history, its the drop down in Google. It is showing searches that I would not have done and I am the only one with access to my phone. I also do not have a Google account. I use a dlink, no home sharing or anything of the sort. The settings for safari are default, I didn't change anything for it. It has never done this until recently, that I know of anyway. Is that possible? To let you all know, it is inappropriate searches. Um, the showing too much and doing stuff kind of searches. What is weird about it is if I type in something, it shows a relevant search but with the inappropriate stuff with it. Like, for example, if I look up "hd wallpapers" it will show something like "naked women hd wallpapers". Then it would have a few other things... Nasty things. I'm not sure how to phrase things delicately, so I'll let you all use your imagination. HELP!!!

By the way, I am a 26 year old woman, NO interest in other women at all, NO reason to search that kind of stuff. I stick to myself, so no one else has access to my iPhone. Could it be a virus? What are the chances of my phone being hacked? Sorry it's so many questions, it just makes me uncomfortable and I'd like to know what may be the cause of this so I can maybe fix it before I take a hammer to the phone and go buy a simple flip phone.

Yes, that's a lot of questions, let's break it down.

1. Double tap Home button, delete Safari from multitask-bar. Tap Home button when finished.

2. In Settings > Safari >

Accept Cookies: OFF

(Some website might requires cookies, in that case use From visited)

Tap Clear History

Tap Clear Cookies and Data

3. Do a Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data.

If your iPhone wasn't hacked/jailbroken (one needs physically access to hack), you do not have to worry about virus.

Well, if your iPhone is jailbroken, all bets are off.
