I have beeb using a Zebra label printer to print postage for my ebay account, I have been doing this for years on my Windows PC.

I want to use my MacPro for my eBay but the problem I have is the printer will not print a postage label without using Google Chrome.

When I tried connecting my Zebra Printer (LP2844) the MAC doesn't display the postage image and will not print. It does the same thing on my Windows PC if I don't use Google Chrome. I think Google Chrome has a robust JAVA engine that helps display certain images better.

Question is; Can I or should I install Google Chrome on my MAC? or Partition my MAC drive and install a Windows OS on my MAC? or should I install FireFox? I still have lots of crap on My Windows PC, files, pictures, docs etc that I would like to migrate to my MAC and get rid of my Windows PC once and for all.

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.0.x)

Do both. But try first. And of course you can use any browser - why wouldn't it work on Mac - but as for "JAVA" that has been criticized and disabled as vulnerability issues. And I think because Java updates (not javascript) were slow to be ported to Mac OS.

And yes you can run Windows natively or in a VM. If you want the convenience of dual boot and VM, install and set it up on its own hard drive first then attach VM app to it. I use Fusion but there is Parallels and of course free VirtualBox.
