Does the magnet affect iPhone?

Does the magnet affect iPhone wifi and other signal chips? I could not find any define answer from the Internet regarding the question . Thanks in advance for answering :)

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

Whether or not it does, I wouln't place any magnet near the iPhone (or any electronic equipment). It's just common sense.

Depends on the magnet I suppose. Many leather pouch cases have magnetic closures, and they have no affect on the iPhone. The iPad has internal magnetic switches and those are fine.

So, I would say, weak magnets, no they will not affect it at all. But if you had a strong enough magnet, I'm sure it would.
