Adobe Acrobat Pro XI returns "Internal Error Occurred"

Adobe Acrobat Pro XI will not start up on a new MBP running OS 10.8.4. It keeps returning an error message that states "Internal Error Has Occurred." I get the same with Adobe Reader on the same machine. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, repairing permissions, updating using Adobe updater - nothing changes.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

MacBook Pro (15-inch Core 2 Duo), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Open Console in Applications Utilities. Note the time and try to open the application again. Go to Console and copy the log starting withe the time you tried to open the application and paste it in a reply. Please don't paste information not related to the problem.
