Since Apple announced and started its annual back to school sales last week, I asked USC.edu's computer store about its iPad sales. However, they said there were none even for educational prices (same prices as the ones shown on Apple.com's web site!). They said the cheaper prices are only for computers (desktops and laptops/notebooks). They still do come with online Apple App gift cards though.
Is this true or false? Thank you in advance. 🙂
The educational/educator pricing has never included iPads or any iDevices. It has always been limited to computers and certain software like MS Office.
I often buy refurbished devices from the Apple Online store. Items are less expensive than new, are indistinguishable from new and come with the same warranty as new. Just generic packaging. The selection varies from day to day so you may have to wait a bit for what you want.
You are correct. There are no special educations prices for iPads.
