Q: bluetooth keybord light is flashing but computer can't find it

Bluetooth keyboard light is flashing ( so should be discoverable right?) but Bluetooth setup assistant can't find the device at all anymore. Was connected before and had issues several times in the past, but I could usually fix it by deleting the device in the bluetooth list and then set it up again. I've also tried restarting comp several times as well as the PRAM reset on restart. Any ideas? Oh and my Bluetooth trackpad works just fine.
