Me too! I have Macbook Pro 4, 1 with Mac OS X10.6.8 and I have IMOVIE 09 - 806 (version 821)

I can't seem to import any films into it - they don't show up as events.

Information online about suitability of 09 to Mac OS X 10.6.8 is confusing

Any advice?
