Q: PowerMac G5 OS update question

So I recently dug out this tower from its grave, it's nearly a decade old and still running 10.3.9.  It's sole purpose is running pro tools LE 6.7 for recording and it does it beautifully.  However, I'd like to update its OS so I can browse the interwebs and log into iTunes, not asking too much from it, currently I can't do either. So my question is, how do I go about updating it. Do I bring it to an Apple store? Or is this something I can myself. If anyone can point me in the right direction to update its OS that would be terrific, something that will get safari working and compatible with pro tools 6.7

About the computer...it's a powermac g5, 4 gig ram, one 160gig hd, 1.8 dual Processor, 900k bus and 512 something else, just off the top of my head.

Thanks again much appreciated!
