pictures are not saved with edits

I edited all of my pictures on my iphone (cropping, red eye, auto-enhance, etc.) and wanted to upload them to my PC. But when I go to upload them, it only keeps the photo in it's original state. Any suggestions on getting the edited pics converted over?
