My Ipod 5 won't turn on! It isn't craked, and it was working just fine yesterday. I tried charging it but it won't turn on. I've had my Ipod 5 for about 7 months. Do I need a new Ipod, or maybe my charger isn't working... Need HELP!

This literally just happened to me, my iPod was working fine and within 15 minutes of using it and when I went to check it I find out it wasn't responding to the lock key or home buttons. It wouldn't connect to a computer/console and subsequently would charge.
TO FIX THIS:
Hold both the lock and home keys consecutively for AROUND 3-5 seconds
THEN
Let go of ONLY the home key.
You should see the apple logo and then it will start up normally.

This just happened to me too. Fixed now but should I go in to Apple or is it a random thing that happens? Does it mean the battery has problems?
